How the treatment process works
Skin tightening treatments are performed at Altogether You Med Spa within the comforts of one of our private treatment rooms. Local anesthesia is applied to thoroughly numb the treatment site. A thin tube on the Renuvion applicator is gently inserted under the skin through a small incision. Both helium gas and radiofrequency waves are simultaneously emitted, combining to make a plasma that creates heating and cooling energy. The end result is contraction and firming of the skin. Once your treatment session is finished, you may leave our office to resume normal daily activities.
Is there any recovery time after skin tightening treatments?
Patients should expect temporary soreness, bruising, and swelling at each treatment site, which usually subsides within a few days. Typically, patients should take it easy for the first day or so to allow incisions to heal. In some cases, compression garments may be needed for a couple of days to optimize results.
